Adding a credit note

Credit notes can be added for a customer and linked back to a previous order.

  1. On the Orders tab click "Add a credit" from the drop down.
  2. Enter the customer's name.
  3. Enter the Order No. you want to link this credit to.
  4. Enter the items you are crediting in the table.
  5. Click Save.

If you need to refund a whole order:

  1. On the Orders tab click on the customer order you wish credit.
  2. Click Copy > New Credit.
  3. Click Save.

To process to refund: (only available for customers with online payment enabled)

  1. Click on the Credit (see steps above)
  2. Click Refund
  3. Select payment method and the amount.
  4. Tick process credit card
  5. Select the card from the list.
  6. Click save.
You can send an email to your customer with the credit note and you can print the credit note by clicking on the credit and click Print & Save.
This feature is available on all plans and all editions.
